    Founder & CEO

    Abdi Mehdi

“Our mission is to make advanced simulation an integral part of metal additive manufacturing: connecting robots, interpreting sensor data, and predicting physical behavior to enable faster, more reliable, and scalable production.”

    The founder's path

    Different chapters. One direction.

QH Build grew at the intersection of scientific computing, product engineering, entrepreneurship, and industrial manufacturing. Each chapter added a capability the final system would need.

    Methods behind the work

Eight in-house solvers built across 2020-2026.

    • FEM
      Finite elementDiscretized mesh
    • FVM
      Finite volumeConservative control volumes
    • SPH

    2019-2025

    Chapter 01 / Technical range

    Mastering the methods.

More than 400 simulation cases and work across over 25 solvers created a broad, practical command of computational engineering - from finite elements and finite volumes to SPH and phase-field methods.

    25+ solvers / 400+ simulation cases

    2020-2025

    Chapter 02 / Scientific depth

    Deepening the science.

A PhD in computational materials science and applied mechanics deepened that experience into a rigorous understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, and multiphysics model development.

    2021-2023

    Chapter 03 / Founder instinct

    Building for people.

Starting and operating a food-delivery company brought a second kind of education: move with urgency, listen to real users, and measure an idea by the value it creates outside the lab.

Entrepreneurship / Operations / Customer reality

    2022-2025

    Chapter 04 / Product engineering

    From solvers to systems.

Experience in software architecture, front-end and back-end development, and CI/CD connected advanced multiphysics to the reliable digital infrastructure required for an industrial product.

    2025

Chapter 05 / The Validation point

    Meeting Tomas Jochman.

While consulting independently in metal additive manufacturing from 2025 through 2026, Abdi Mehdi met Tomas Jochman, a leading expert in robotic manufacturing and Industry 4.0. That meeting crystallized the fundamental idea that connecting machine motion, sensor evidence, and predictive physics is the future.

    2026

    Chapter 06 / Customer proof

    Proof in production.

After a customer used our solvers to transform the performance of a robotic wire-laser additive manufacturing cell, the idea was no longer theoretical. QH Build began to turn that proven capability into an industrial platform.

QH Build founded from a real customer outcome

    2026-2027

    Proof became direction

From one transformed cell to a connected platform.

The customer result defined what QH Build would build next: a continuous intelligence loop between the machine, its sensors, and the physics of the process.

    2026 / CUSTOMER PROOF2026-2027 / THE NEXT SYSTEM

    Three worlds.
    One intelligence loop.

The next generation of metal additive manufacturing solvers will not live apart from production. QH Build is connecting robotic execution, real-time sensing, and predictive multiphysics in NVIDIA Omniverse.

    01ACT

    Robotics

Executes the manufacturing strategy with repeatable, programmable precision.

    02SENSE

    Sensors

Turns every build into a live stream of process evidence and machine context.

    03PREDICT

    Multiphysics

Reveals what is happening inside the material before defects become cost.
